About the event

Discover the power of sound in our immersive workshop designed for teenagers and adults. Join us on a captivating journey to help create a meditative 'sound bath' for Becontree Broadcasting Station.

In this unique experience, you'll explore the world of sound through field recordings in nature, actively engage in the sound design and editing process, and gain insight into crafting sound installations. As you explore sound recorded through Barking & Dagenham, you'll connect with your surroundings in profound ways - learning about 'sonic grounding' and 'audio foraging' along the way. Unleash your creativity and let sound become your canvas.

Please note that this event is for ages 12 and up, and young people under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If you have any questions, please email
